~ Part of the service I will provide you is to help you through-out the entire process of finding a nanny for you and your family.
~ Before you meet the Nannies I will have interviewed them myself, looking for the qualities that I would want from someone looking after my own children.
~ I will have checked references and spoken to previous employers.
~ All Nannies will have had a police check done as well as a Criminal Record Check for a Sexual Offence, this is a separate check.
~ When it comes to interviewing I will supply a list of helpful hints and questions to ask and look for when you are doing this. If you would like me there to help with the interview I am more than happy to do so at a small cost separate to that of the placement fee.
~ After you have interviewed each Nanny I will contact you to see how it went and answer any questions you may have at that time.
~ Once you have selected a Nanny through "Almost AS Good As Mum" if you would like me to I will happily contact Revenue Canada to request you get all the paperwork with regards to Payroll deductions and how to submit them. This process can be confusing so I will be able to talk you through the process at any time.
~ I will also provide some helpful hints on how to help you and the Nanny through the transition stage to make life easier for everyone.
~ Through out the year I will send you updates on what to do, where to go and what to see in around Vancouver with your children.
~ At any time you have any problems I will be here to help you and your Nanny to make the placement a happy and long one.
Agency Fees
There are two ways that Almost As Good As Mum will charge a client either as a Full/Part time or temporary placement or on an hourly basis. This is where the client is no longer responsible for submitting taxes etc (please see below.)
ONE
Full time placements $775 (plus applicable taxes) to be paid when offer of employment (3 or more days) made and accepted by the Nanny.
Part time placements $675 (plus applicable taxes) to be paid when offer of employment (1 to 2days) made and accepted by the Nanny.
Nanny Share $100 additional fee (plus applicable taxes)
Live-in Nannies $875 (plus applicable taxes) to be paid when offer of employment is made and accepted by the Nanny.
*Temporary Placements $150 per weeks (4 or less weeks)
If the placement is not suitable and is no longer working I will replace the Nanny at no further cost to you within a two month period. If the placement finishes after that period no replacement will be arranged as this will be classed as a new placement.
TWO
*Temporary or Long Term placements through the agency where the agency is responsible for the entire nanny's taxes, T4 statements etc.
$ 3.00 per hour for every hour that the nanny works for the
client payable to the agency.
$ 10-20 per hour paid at the end of the day or week to
the Agency or the nanny depending on the situation.
*Either rate can apply, it is best to speak to the agency about what one will be the cheapest for each client.
