This is a small nanny employment agency offering a very personal service, owned and operated by myself, a mother of two small girls. I am an ex-NNEB Nanny, with over 14 years experience working in both the U.K. and abroad. As I have both been a nanny, and have hired nannies, I feel this will help me to place you with the right family, and help answer any questions that may arise as I have been on both sides! I select potential nannies from all resumes submitted, and prefer individuals with at least 2 years of child care experience and/or child care qualifications. Exceptions may be made for individual situations. We have jobs that need a driver and if you are going to be applying for this kind of job a Drivers Abstract is required, Almost As Good As Mum can give you details on how to obtain one free of charge. A Police Back ground check is required pending a job offer and we can give you details. When you attend your interview. I also require that you bring in your resume, references and a photograph of yourself for our files. Also recommended is a "Dear Family" letter, which can be brought in to your interview. This is a way to supplement your resume information, and to help parents get to know more about you. Tell them why they would choose you over other candidates and what kind of nanny you would make for their children. If you are new to the area or don't know other nannies I am happy to supply you with a list of other nannies in the area as well as places to visit with the children, I feel this is important to help you make your placement a successful one.
